How to Really Make Money at Home
by Michael J. McGroarty

There’s a secret to making money that very few people will ever share with you. Probably because they don’t even know that this secret exists. I’ll share the secret with you in a few seconds...

But first. If you really want to make money at home, then you have to have a really good product to sell. That product can be something tangible like the Wacky Wall Walker, or it can be something intangible like a service.

The ideal product should be something proprietary that you control. Like the Wacky Wall Walker. Remember that thing? It was a little rubber octopus like toy that you threw at the wall, it would stick, then start flipping over and walking it’s way down the wall.

It’s been years since I read the story of the Wacky Wall Walker, but as I recall it was originally invented in Japan and marketed under a different name.
A young man from the United States saw it, obtained the exclusive rights to market it in the U.S., changed the name to the Wacky Wall Walker, and then came up with all kinds of truly unique ways to market his new found product.

As the story goes he once went into a very upscale restaurant, sat down and ordered dinner, and then right in the middle of the evening stood up and started tossing Wacky Wall Walkers at the wall. It seems that there was an important editor that he
was trying to get the attention of to get some free publicity for his little toy.

He got the toy into the big chain stores and sold a ton of them. Then as the fad was beginning to fade, he promoted his product to the cereal companies as a premium they could give away in their cereal boxes.

As I recall, he made something like 20 million dollars with a product that only cost a few cents to make. All because he recognized an opportunity when he saw it.

This particular product was a fad, and you have to be quick because fads come and go quick. Not only that, but as soon as the fad gets popular, everybody and their brother starts violating your patent and starts selling knock offs. (imitations of your product)

About that secret I mentioned earlier. The secret to making money at home or anywhere else is you have to offer a product that solves a problem. The Wacky Wall Walker solved the problem of cheap entertainment. People always seem to have money to spend on entertainment, and the Wacky Wall Walker offered them
an affordable option during a weak economy.

So what kind of a product can you come up with that will be proprietary to you, and will solve a problem? The answer is a simple information product. It could be something as simple as a report, a booklet, a manual, a book, a video, or an audio cassette.

We all know people who suffer from one form of arthritis or another. A lady well into her years had this problem. Her fingers ached everyday. Then she discovered something that actually helped relieve the pain, and allow her to do things that she hadn’t been able to do.

She was so happy about what she discovered, she wanted to share it with others, so she wrote a small booklet about her method of getting arthritis relief.

Through free publicity she sold something like 200,000 copies of her little booklet.

What information product can you come up with?
