Tummy Yummies

Dipsy's Pistachio Dessert
Salad
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 box pistachio pudding
1 pkg. mini marshmallows
10 oz. Cool Whip
walnuts optional
Mix pudding with half the milk recommended on the box
directions. Blend
in Cool Whip Add remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until
ready to
serve.

Po's Red
Cherry Balls
1/2 lb. Coconut
1 jar Maraschino cherries
1/4 lb. Blanched almonds
1 Egg white
1/4 red colored sugar
Whirl coconut, cherries and almonds in food processor. Add
unbeaten egg
white and a little cherry juice. Roll into small balls and
roll in red
sugar.

La-La's Yellow Jell-O
Jigglers
1 large boxes of lemon Jell-O
water and ice
Prepare jigglers according to box directions and pour into
long glass
baking dish. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into "sun"
shapes using a
drinking glass or a sun-shaped cookie cutter. |
Tinky-Winky's
Purple Tubby Toaster Triangles
Four slices of bread
2 tbsp. grape jelly
Toast bread and smear with grape jelly. Cut diagonally into
quarters.

Pink Tubby
Custard
3 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups milk with 2-3 drops red food coloring (to achieve pink
color)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 165°F. Butter a 1-quart baking dish and place
it in a
roasting pan which has enough hot water to come halfway up the
side of
the baking dish. Place in the oven to heat.
Combine the eggs, egg yolks and sugar, and whisk until thick
and pale.
Heat the milk to boiling point and slowly add to the egg
mixture,
stirring constantly. Stir in the vanilla. Strain through a
sieve into
the baking dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. Place in the
roasting pan and
bake for 45 minutes, until set. The custard is set when a
knife inserted
in the center comes out clean.
