About Main Street Mom

Greetings from
Main Street
Mom, the magazine
for modern mothers with traditional values, devoted to the support
and encouragement of every mother who is at home full-time with her
children.
Main Street Mom was formed in the Spring of 1998
and has been run out of my home ever since. Having
spent several years in the workforce, I found it hard to be away
from the adult community when I left my position, feeling that I had
been contributing to that which is considered by many people to be
"important." However, after having been home for a time, I realized that
what we do could not be more important. Mothers form the next generation and contribute
significantly to future generations. We wanted other mothers to know that we are behind
them 100% and offer them the bolstering that we all need sometimes to forge forth with our
roles.

I have
thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with the moms who visit Main
Street Mom, and hope that the site and the number of visitors will
continue to grow.
There is no more important job, in spite of the fact that there is no paycheck.
Our compensation package is chock-full of hugs, and kisses, and the sleepy faces at the
end of the day. My hat is off to you, Mom!
